CoventryOne clients in four states must take action to restart EFT to pay their monthly premium by January 4.
Individual Pre-65
Due to a recent change in our underwriting legal entities, we cannot automatically deduct some of your client’s health care premium payments via electronic funds transfer (EFT) for January 2016 from their account. To keep using EFT and start recurring payments in 2016, they must re-enroll in the program. These members are currently enrolled in EFT, but their 2015 EFT enrollment will not carry forward into 2016. They must quickly re-enroll in EFT for 2016 to ensure no disruption or miss relative to their January premium payment that is needed for coverage to become effective. This impacts Coventry on-exchange subscribers in Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Re-enrolling in the EFT program is easy
To re-enroll in our EFT program for the 2016 plan year, and to allow for timely payment of their January premium, your clients should follow the steps on My Online Services on the Coventry secure member website. They can also call us at 1-877-849-9690.
Action required
Affected clients must take action and pay their premium by January 4, 2016. Making their payment on time will ensure their health coverage starts on January 1, 2016.
