If you are already enrolled in Medicare, annual Open Enrollment will be October 15 through December 7.  Review of drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans is critical.  Enrolling or remaining in the wrong plan can cause you to lose significant amounts of money.  Enrolling in the most appropriate plan, but filling prescriptions at the wrong pharmacy can also take quite a toll on the family checkbook.  Using preferred vs. non-participating pharmacies can bring a $7500 annual cost down to a $750 annual out of pocket cost.
